Personal Note: If you're buying these to eventually use as reusable grocery bags (which is how I use them), I'd go for the 16 x 16 for most people. It's larger than a normal grocery bag, but it's not so big that when they fill it, you can't lift it. It's also got a boxy bottom which helps it stand up for filling. You can also fit a towel, water bottle and snacks in that size for the pool or beach. This would be a good size for a gift bag as well. I'd choose 18 x 18 for a Mom beach or pool bag or an overnight bag. I also take that size to the farmer's market. 13 x 13 is perfect for the littles. Let them carry some of their own things to the beach or even have the grocery bagger put some things in theirs so they can help. It would also make a good size for a less formal purse.

Care instructions - Remove all items from the bag before cleaning. Suggested to pretreat visible stains with stain remover. Mix warm water with laundry detergent and clean the bag with terry washcloth or a soft bristle brush. Let the bag air dry.
